  1. I hope it works out for one of you guys. I would love to see an enthusiast take possession of this piece of Datsun lore. Myself, I also have no place to put it!
  2. Look what just popped up on CL in the Bay Area: http://sfbay.craigslist.org/eby/cto/5572241021.html 240 Datsun Modified 1972 Message for more info & details Needs work! 6,000 or best offer xzpsd-5572241021@sale.craigslist.org
  3. Hopes to be racing again this year...

  4. How about these? http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=7909777294
  5. I've heard from a few different sources who have tackled this project that the LD28 block combo does NOT fit under a stock 240z hood when mounted in the stock location. Custom mounts and some creativity will be required. Best of luck, Michael
  6. The OER carburator stuff looks alright (wish I could read Japanese) but I don't see those TBs. I couldn't find anything on SK Sanyo though. Thanks KAZU for the evaluation of the fuel system on that beautiful car. It's more information than I was able to come up with. Even if the TMWs are superior, that guys setup looks really cool!
  7. Sorry, let me try that again... http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/aw-cgi/ebayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=1808995288&r=0&t=0 Sorry for the lack of a hyper-link, it appears to be too long for the lists utility. Michael
  8. Larkja, just noticed this, thought you might be interested... 44 Mikunis on ebay Michael
  9. Sorry Jamie T, definetly not TWMs. I'm pretty familiar with thier stuff and that ain't it. I think KAZU might be onto something with that MoTec suggestion though. I'll have to look into it. Thanks, Michael
  10. Vic Sias won the 2001 SCCA Solo II Nationals in BSP with his Z running Advanced Designs. From talking with him, Andy Craig, and Rob Luis (who won Street Mod at the Nats in the M3 of Jim Ochi), I decided to go with the Advanced designs for my race car (FP AutoX), I am using 450lb. springs with this setup. I am looking for some good results but cannot offer any driving impressions yet as the season has not yet started, and I am still tuning. Michael
  11. Been drooling all over that guys car for a few years now. Simply the cleanest Z I've ever seen. My question... Does anybody have any idea what kind of fuel injection setup that is??? Michael
  12. Larkja, I too would recommend big-bore SUs for a street car. However,... You do already have the triple setup, and it is very possible to make it run correctly. From your reference to Dave and Andy, I'm assuming you are in the bay area somewhere. So I will share one of my greatest speed secrets with you. Put away ~$400-$500 and call Ken Murillo @ Classic Motorsports in Santa Rosa. He has been tuning my race car for a few years now and I swear by his skill with triples on the Datsun. The cost is a little high, but he does his work on the dyno, and does it right the first time. After installing my fresh engine this year I went to Ken for tuning, he pulled an additional 55hp out of an already tremendously powerful engine. Best of luck. 13. Thanks, the center inlet, offset outlet is the configuration I ended up ordering.
  14. Hi all, Well the new motor goes in tonight, for those that don't know, this is a 1970 240Z SCCA FP AutoX car (very hot L6). I'm having the new exhaust pipe made next week, but I need to order my muffler and I don't remember which inlet/outlet configuration fits under the back of the Z. I'll be ordering a 3" Borla XR1 race muffler. Any help is greatly appreciated. Michael
  15. I need to speak with whomever it is that makes and sells the adjustable control arms and TC kit in the Hybridz store. Please send email direct to fast240z@pacbell.net Thanks, Michael
