  1. Hey guys I was wondering what your recommendation would be for welding in a bung for a wideband on a stock 240z exhuast (71 series 1 if it makes a difference). I recently rebuilt and installed a set of Mikuni triples so to help with tuning I'm in need of a wideband which is something I've never used before. I've been researching on the net about placement and I can't seem to find a definitive answer I know it's recommended that the sensor be placed at least 18 inches from the head so I don't overheat my sensor but considering I'm still running the stock manifold and dual down piping do you think if I welded the bung into one of the dual down pipes that it would give me an inaccurate reading even though the down piping is collected at both sides. Any advice would be greatly appreciated!

  2. Hello,

Im on the look out for some 240z window regulators. I really dont care how they look all im really worried about is that they work smoothly and will fit my '73. Prefered if these are in Southern California so I could pick them up but if they're cheap enough I can consider shipping also.

  3. I bought a S1 head from a seller on Hybridz and after thinking about it I desided to get a S2 instead. I ended taking both heads to the machine shop to have both of them cleaned and rebuilt but I gave the machinest specific instructions to keep everything seperated and labeled becuase I've read that some S1 and S2 parts arent interchangable and can damage the motor if you try to use them in a head they werent meant for such as the cams. I was given one complete head and one head with a box of valves springs cams but with no Indication if he used the right parts or which head is which. I've been looking on the web for indicators but I really havent come up with anything. I was wondering if you guys know of any indicators to look for on a rb25 head that will give me some indication as to which head is which and the same goes for the cams.

    Any pointers would be awesome!

  5.  It seems more like a brake pressure issue. There are few variables that could be causing the issue such as a tired brake line or even a cracked hardline although it could very well be a bad caliper that would be the last thing I replace when diagnosing the problem.

Its simple enought to pull it off and see if the caliper is at least engaging while still plumbed though.

  6. sounds like you need a proportioning valve. Either your brakes are only engaging on the side/corner or they're engaging more when braking on that side. The easist way to tell is to jack the car up have one of your buddies work the peddle and see if you can spin the tire while somebody is braking.

  7. you can make one at most industrial stores all you need is a steel coupler in the length and diameter you require, two heims in the stud diameter the bolt thats being bolted through it are and two jam nuts. Its shouldnt cost you more then 20$

    Hope that helps!
