I would pass on a rusty car in AZ. I looked for almost a year but i found a shell in Mesa with no motor/trans for $500(completely rust free.)

I'm selling my v8 swapped 260z. Here's the craigslist ad: http://phoenix.craigslist.org/evl/cto/3144283087.html
build thread: http://desertdatsuns.freeforums.org/my-260z-sbc-swap-t1603.html

There's really not much lag with a properly sized remote mount turbo on a sbc. My brother has a remote mount on his camaro and there's very little lag. Sure it's not the most efficient setup but it works just fine.

As long as it is long enough it should work with a t5. I used the cable in the JTR kit on a TH350 and a t5 without issue.

I went with a carb'd v8 for cost savings as well. If I could do it over I would go with either a 5.3 or 6.0 ls motor. As others have already stated, that much power in a street driver s30 is probably more than you need. My motor should make ~400hp at the crank and I cant get traction in first and second to save my life.

Are you going to keep producing those mounts? If so how much are you selling them for? I've always thought a boosted s52 would be an awesome swap.

Just bought one. Thanks guys!

Like the title says, I'm looking for a clutch/brake pedal assembly for my manual conversion. Let me know if you have one! Thanks.

The first page of this thread states that the EMUSA coilovers have steel bottoms. I bought a set a few months ago and mine have aluminum rears, so plan on buying adapters if you want to run the EMUSA coilovers.

IF you used the JTR kit, you could put a spacer between the set-back plates and the motor to raise it. However, this might cause issues with the transmission fitting in the tunnel.

Nice car. Have taken it to the track yet?

Hi guys,
I'm thinking about buying the emusa 240sx coilovers for my Z. If I buy them, I will not be using the 8k/6k springs that they come with. According to this thread: http://forums.hybridz.org/index.php/topic/88915-coilovers-emusa-vs-megan/
The springs that the coilovers come with are 8" long. Is there any reason that you couldn't replace them with 10" springs that have a much lower spring rate? I was thinking of going with 200lb/in front and 225lb/in rear. I would assume that since the spring rate is lower you would want to have a longer spring correct? Thanks in advance.

Nice build. Sounds great!

Those are the JTR mounts.

Great build! The car sounds awesome. Quick question, is that an 8" harmonic balancer? According the the JTR manual you need a 7.25" or smaller but yours looks like a stocker.
1jz Driveshaft Length

I searched a bit but couldn't find an answer. Can anyone with a 1jz/2jz swap tell me how long your driveshaft is, and what transmission you're using? I have a sbc in my Z, but I may swap to a 1jz and I want to know if I can reuse the driveshaft I already had made(with some modifications obviously). Thanks
