HybridZ Supporter i really like the sound of option one. I will try that for now, but for the emissions stuff it seems like my car has less power with the missing emission control pieces. i drove a buddies one and it had way more power. Do you know any pages where i may be able to find a way to block/fix my problem? It seems like there are a few hoses i need to find and block. Tree Killer, that sounds super good too! I will try that too, and let you all know how it goes. for the college thing, its not going to be that much longer. 4 more months till graduation, and all the learning more to go, but thank you for your opinions. Thank you so much! That post helped a lot My goal for this engine is to produce cost/effective modifications(most bang for the buck), for my tight budget. I am still a college student, so my funds are not that really big yet. I figured I would try to improve my engine just a little for now so I can enjoy driving my Z on my off time. My all time goal is to its throttle response and 0-60 time. (I hope this helps) As for the Emissions my car, the engine bay was stripped apart prier to my purchase. I believe some of the key emissions control units, and hoses are missing. If I am not mistaken the pump/and hoses are missing. Once again much Mahalo!

hey guys i'm kinda new to this forum and was wondering what would be the best way to mod a l26? at the moment i have a msa coil, and a crane cam fireball block on my 1974 260z. i just got my twin carbs tuned and overhauled,new spark plugs, and lines. i was wondering what should/can i do to make this motor better? while talking to some old timers around town. they told me to dump the engine and start over with a l24, because it would be a better block. i was wondering if this was true, or are there other ways which i can upgrade my hp/build my motor? i was also wondering if i could bypassing emissions regulator by blocking the vacuum hoses. with much aloha, dustin_haru
