  4. Hello Zed240au, Tell us a bit more about this modification. Are these rotors vented? What make of caliper did you use? Is there a custom bracket required? Thanks,
  5. The only reason I looked into 5 x 4.75" lug circle wheels is I love the vintage look of 72-spoke wire wheels. Relatively plentiful as found on Jaguar XJ's from 70's-90's. But I decided that by the time I buy (or built) adaptors, you might as well get new Dayton knock-offs (or bolt-ons) that fit the Nissan 4 x 4.5" or 5 x 4.5" hubs.
  6. Say something nice about the blending of two families - it makes the moms happy. Center attention on the bride - it's her day...... and the Groom's night.
  7. Ron, Not sure if perhaps '87-'89 300ZX front hubs have enough material to be re-drilled with the 'Chevrolet' 4.75" x 5 lug bolt pattern. Here is a photo of one: The rear hubs & stubs certainly do not and will require an adaptor like these: hhttp://www.truckaddons.com/Catalog/subpages/custom_wheels_adaptit.htm http://store.gaugemagazine.com/index.asp?PageAction=VIEWPROD&ProdID=886 Or new stubs like these: http://www.modern-motorsports.com/catalog/product_info.php?products_id=62
  8. Some skilled panel beaters there - Philippines? Malaysia? Saw this on EBAY - interesting reading. http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/Not-a-1962-Ferrari-250GTO_W0QQitemZ4635654100QQcategoryZ7251QQrdZ1QQcmdZViewItem
  9. And then you will need to have the driveshaft length shortened by 1 1/2".

    I need help

Change the oil and replace the PCV. I know that sounds odd, but on a well seasoned engine some of the fresh gas gets by the rings and into the crankcase oil. The motor oil will absorb only so much and then and release those unburned HCs and feeds them back through the engine, increasing the amount emitted at the tailpipe.
  13. Well - if its a Nissan FS5W71C, and not the T-5...and your into HybridZ...there is a way: http://www.atlanticz.ca/zclub/techtips/240sxtransmissioninstall/index.html http://forums.hybridz.org/showthread.php?t=98875&highlight=KA+speed Someone was selling the S30 front section pre-machined on eBAY a while back, a race shop in CA will modify your old one too.
  14. I looked up an old girlfriend in MYSPACE. Funny, I don't remember her being "BI" (more like "NON"), but that was 20 years ago.....
  15. Did you reinforce the unibody with frame rail connectors, sill rails, torque boxes, cage tubing, or anything like that?
  16. 289 in a '73? Shouldn't that be a 302.... maybe the truck lines used 289s after 1967....Ooops forgot this is a site about swapping engines, not the purist site. 1st gen Broncos are very cool. My cousin had a '69 with a 3 speed. I remember it was noisy (buzzy) inside due to the single layer sheetmetal on the removable rear section's roof.
  17. I don't know who wrote this - I've been saving it for years...
  18. Read about this joker saying he'd put in a classified ad on 4-1: Estate sale, Classic cars: 1963 Ford Mustang big block $500. 1902 Curved Dash Oldsmobile $2,000. 1983 Corvette $2,200. Call 555-XXXX. Ask for U.R. Phould.

Thou shalt not take the name of Dr. Ferdinand Porsche in vain.
  21. My 13-yr-old son and I were just talking about that show Friday evening. Because in the opening credits he is seen driving a Lotus 7. In "The Village" they drive bizarre little vehicles like this, or bicycles....
