  1. Thanks man. Seeing as though there is interest in here, i'll keep the thread updated as i get work done.
  2. Yea, had given him my intake manifold to weld the runners to the flange because they were just too close together for my big torch to get to. You're a local?
  3. Honestly, it won't be started up for a loooooooong time. I have plenty of time but i don't have the funds to finish it right now. I'm trying to take care of some debt before plunging back into it.
  4. Haven't worked on it much since i've been helping friends out with their projects but this is how the car stands today...
  5. Does anyone know exactly which flares these are?
  6. If he's pulling the shiftknob off while shifting, he's rather shifting the car wrong or he has a crappy stamped steel pressure plate with higher clamping load and it's not fully disengaging at higher rpm. A clutchmasters twin disk will cure all of his problems. I know from personal experience.
  7. The only problem i see is that a 400whp srt traps 118mph... if i saw correctly, it only went 112 so it rather doesn't make 400+whp or he let off. But still, good race. 125mph is a nice trap for such a mild setup.
  8. Nice! That z28 cowl looks kinda short. Did you shorten it? Would you be able to give me specs? I am trying to decide which one i am going to use for my car.
  9. Great! Thanks. Let me know whenever you come down to visit again. We'll meet up and hit up some of the spots. Even if my car isn't ready, i have some friends with decent cars.
  10. Wow dude, you're old school. lol Yea, the scene is still pretty big. There are much more younger kids with slower cars and less of the slightly more serious racers around. Saga bay is a no no anymore. The only old school spot that people still go to is okeechobee. The best way to catch a race now is to find the hangout spot, usually a gas station. You usually don't run the risk of getting busted there because no one is racing. They just kick you out. If you want to race, make arrangements with that person and head out to the safest highway by yourselfs, run, and come back. It's great to see another board member that knows exactly how things go down here.
  11. spdexhaust.com or you could always go to burnsstainless.com
  12. Finally two gates! and the intake manifold to hood clearance
  13. Some screen for racing and some filters if i can fit them for the basic commuting... from race spot to race spot ofcourse.
  14. Sorry about that. I didn't realize that i didn't post an updated pic.
