  2. Hey guys, Somehow, in the process of restoring my Z, I managed to loose the camshaft retaining clip. The one with 3 holes, kinda diamond shaped with radiused corners. Anybody know where I can pick one up? Thanks, Whis
  3. Did you use a tablet to draw those? Or a mouse. I'm working a tablet PC right now to draw my stuff/ do photoshop work and take notes. Only bad thing about it is that when its folded up, I can't get to the keyboard. Everything I do in photoshop has a keystroke. *$#&($#! Those are nice though! Aside from the fact I think the thread maker meant car related at least. But!
  4. HEY! The thread title said post anything! And has long as the new 350 doesn't have a v6, by all means. Post a pic a of your car from the side and tell me what you want done. I'm not guaranteeing anything, but I'll see what I can come up with.

  7. Okay, so... The diff mount doesn't line up with the bolt holes on the bottom of the car. Boo... Figures, anyways, heres a picture. I circled the points, just to make sure it was easy to spot. Heres a picture of the rest of the stuff. Anyways, can anybody find the part that I didn't put in correctly? It's a 1976 280Z. I just can't find what I did wrong, because it all looks like the drawing and it looks like when I took it out. Sigh. Thanks, Whisler

  10. So, I have two right swing arms. Basically, my luck sucks. The powdercoat guy got it, counted 18 pieces and gave it back to me. The shop sent it out to sandblast. I think they messed it up. Sigh. If its not one thing, its the other thing. Just to prove that 2 rights don't make a left. Maybe 3 would. Figures. Also, anybody no where this comes from? I think its a bracket from the differential somewhere, but I'm drawing a blank.
  11. Okay, so the diff upright bolt is stuck in the car, with the upright still attached. It rotates but will never come out because the nut inside is rotating with it. I assume that the nut inside was supposed to be welded and I'm sure it was but I managed to luck out and shear the welds. Should I just cut in from the top to grab the nut or...? Thanks, Whis
  12. Hey all, How does one pull the shock out of the strut tube. I'm trying to get all my parts to powdercoat (Good idea or bad idea? The powdercoat that is.) and I the shock will not come out of the tube. I was under the impression that it just sorta came out when you pulled but... Should I just put it in a vise and yank or...?
