Oh*BLEEP* that is awsome! I was contiplating that same paint scheme but seeing it on your car probably just put it back on top of my paint plans. Nice job. By the way what color codes did you use?

I remembered that a while back GM was toying with the idea of a Twin Turbo version of the Trailblazer before the Super Sport V8 they have now. So I would like to see this swap happen.

RacerX,
The exact same thing happened to me. This morning as I was moving the trash can so the garbage man can get it. He pointed out that my passenger's side quarter panel window was broken. I was so pissed at what had happened the whole day I felt out of wack. I couldn't concentrate on my job. My day was just shot because of that. Get this. They took my 10 Disc changer but could not take my stereo. Why. I'm glad you asked. I took the faceplate in the house. So they ran sacked my entire car from the inside. Papers everywhere aaaarrrrgggghhhhh! So believe me when I say I know what you are going through. All I can say is I hope you have insurance cause I didn't.

Weld Draglites because you know the people in town are going to know you have something under the hood when they see those rims on your car. I've always seen cars/trucks with muscle under the hood sporting those wheels.

How about the Dodge 5.9-Liter HO Cummins Turbo Diesel Engine w/6-Speed Manual Transmission or 6.7-Liter Cummins Turbo Diesel Engine w6-Speed Manual Transmission? Just some more ideas. With the kind of #'s these put down it's like "yeah"!

I think the torque problem was solved with the lsvtec & crvtec combos. But these motors need to be built right in order to get good power from them & be reliable.

Well what if someone modified the aftermarket fiberglass housings made for these cars to make headlights like the Porsche ones fit? I mean I know someone has tried to do that for different headlights right? If this was done then there must be other possibilities.

I want to see the different headlight conversion modifications people have done to thier 240Z, 260Z, 280Z's. I was thinking of fabricating the headlight housing to make this Porsche headlight fit.
If you guys can show cars that have other headlight conversions so we can all see the different options there are. I'l start with this one I found I just don't know the headlights used.

An authentic full ZG Kit that will fit right.

this has always been my favorite hybrid car.
A truck like this with a built SR20DET 6spd. People will never see it coming.
3. I love the BMW 8 series idea but (l28et) beat me to it.

Nice wheels! What kind are those? What specs are they?

Chepito, that is my shop! Yes, I live in the woods of NH. BTW, the owner of that car is John at Bad Dog parts (http://www.baddogparts.com). It is a super nice frame up 72' restoration with Rebello 3.2L power.
That car is clean, simple & beautiful jaw dropping. What kit did he use for the g-nose and where did he get it? Does he still have it? Sorry I don't get out much.

Inside Sales for a large Industrial parts retailer. I love the work enviroment and schedule "banker's hours". Pay could be better but it gives me time for my family.

It's what I'm shooting for.

Has anybody tried to do a quick release steering wheel set-up on their 240z, 260Z & 280Z?

Here's a vendor from another forum but he can get Koning-Rewinds, Drag-Fastforwards, Sportmax-002's and others upon request at good prices. I'm not affiliated with them but they have done great business with club4ag & honda-tech.

I think this thread should be stickied and turned in to a "Z recommended body/paint shops" thread only. Especially since in a few months from now I will be looking to get my car done as well. Great thread:2thumbs:
