I'm running the production C flares from classicdatsun, here's a link to the install progress.

Ok that vid was hilarious.

TT rear frames have HICAS steering also. They make kits all over the place to eliminate it, but I'm guessing you have the NA subframe.

I voted silver because the "O" is so much harder to read.
It also gives off an upbadging feel, a little like putting a GT-R badge on a Versa. I would put Rota caps on or no caps.

I don't even have a S30 yet and I want this so bad.

If you are looking for local Z meets check out EmpireZ.com. 1st thursday of every month in Ontario. Very chill and last meet we had 32 Zs there. Every chassis represented except the S130 280ZX.
Nice build. I'm searching for a cheap 75 or older Z in the area for a project.
-
Very cool. Have you checked out EmpireZ yet? Ontario meets first thursday of every month at the Denny's parking lot off of Milliken.

Is it the one with the 2JZ?

Search around, a few have tried and abandoned before completion. There is one very successful swap performed by a shop specializing in that engine. They did it as a show piece.
There is a tremendous amount of fab involved. RB is far easier, but if you have time and skills I say go for it.
Specialty Z. Greg Dupree is the Z32 king.

I've been searching for a cheap pre 75 project in SoCal.
Saw this if you were interested (not mine)

Is the tool shed spacious?

Finally finished my coilover conversion.
Is this you Jorge?

Well I'm doing my coilovers. Using metal sleeves custom hats to use stock top strut mount. Took strut housing to my father inlaws shop he Used his oil lubricating metal saw to section struts. Then took everything to the shop next to my dads shop had the guy weld everything used angle iron with clamps to keep everything straight. $20 later I have welded section strut.
Your wheels look familiar.

So that giant hole is for cooling now right?

I literrally laughed my ass off. Thanks for that weight loss. "It pulled like...... something that pulls really really hard"
-
Flywheel is slightly larger on the TT. The tranny internals are teh same, but the bellhousing is slightly different in the flywheel area.

Nice. I have an anti-vert. Slicktop. I want a vert someday to go along with it.
-
If you browse through some of the videos @ mwsmotorsports.com he takes out the motor from the bottom and raises the car up by the lift every time. No real instructions, but there is video.
-
Lol. I know that this car is rare as hell. It's 1 of 87 Ultra Red '93 slicktops.
What's weird is after I got off of the train this afternoon the seats seemed a little lower. Maybe it's from the heat? But if I could just lower it a little bit more I would be in 6'8" hog heaven.
-
Yeah I'm thinking that along with an aftermarket steering wheel with an extended hub. This is my 4th Z32, but my 2nd 2+0. I didn't have a problem with my auto 2+0 but with the 5 speed I'm a little stuck. I might cut off the dead pedal too. Dunno yet.
-
To mount the stock seats lower in a Z32? I just picked up a 93 slicktop for one smokin' deal, but I'd like a little more head room cause I'm 6'8". I can live with the current height, but I thought I'd try asking the mad fab people here if they had any thoughts.

Try contact SGP in texas (I think their site is sgpracing.com). Maybe they have some laying around. Otherwise contact Z-1 motorsports (300zx.com).

How about TTing the N/A motor?
http://www.zfilms.org/Stories/Z32/2006/Chapter9/index.html
It did break though.
Also I've found JDM motors in l.a. county for $1100 and it comes with turbos, but they tell you to throw them away. Crazy people. The motor isn't the expensive part, it's all the extras that'll drain the wallet.

I will tell you I've had great experience with Redline goods with my old Z32's shift and ebrake boot. Quality product, well made, and you can get custom stitching.
Good grief I came back to this forum and still am in love with the S30. I need to just flippin' buy one even if its just to stare at.
