  1. I agree with most everything said here! I really think there would be a market for one part carbon fenders with matching air dam and a real carbon hood and real carbon hatch. If you can match with full real carbon doors, or even glass ones, like Mack is supposed to be making. I think you could shave so much weight it is unreal.

I would be highly interested in some complete cf doors...not skins... with mounting for windows and cranks etc. I like the beta hood and hatch and would like a door to match. The full headlight and fender idea would be excellent.

  2. Bump...

I would be very interested in interior parts. Easiest to make. Plastic on almost all s30s are cracked...mine are trashed. I think making all the rear plastic pieces; plastic panels on the iterior walls, hatch cover, domelight cover, even shock tower covers, rear taillight interior cover; would be a perfect starting point and then move to center console and probably just a dash cap. I would deffinately be Interested inthe interior pieces as have a few others on here. Lots of people do both show cars and race cars. Just the show pieces would be easier to produce and cheaper per item.

The difuser etc should be made On A customer by customer prepaid basis. The interior body panels can be made and shelved and will sell for sure as long as you keep it known.

  3. now im new to this whole coil-over deal and i know its probably in there somewhere between page 6 and subsequently my post here but...is there going to have to be some sectioning or cutting and rewelding of these strut inserts or can i buy them and bolt them in, persay after cutting the perch and welding new on in place, with the lower ride height without having to worry about sectioning the strut insert itself?

  4. The ingenuity of the thing is pretty nice. it may not be youre style or even my style; to each his own i guess. things like that is where we get ideas that are commonplace these days. it was his money to spend let him spend it, not that i wouldnt mind having a piece of that money. He is probably looking at it just like i did. WOW!!! That is nothing i have ever seen before, it is really cool; admit it. Not cool in a way that i totally want it on my car, but in a way that youve never seen it before on a car and would really like to know what went into that.

  5. now i know that this is probably goina be a biased argument...but which of the companies is best for parts...each part mentioned in which i wanna look at in stage four is asociated with two or three companies that make their style. Can anyone give me some pros or cons associated with each companies piece, if you would buy again from the same people if you did it all over again, which is the best bang for buck, etc. Companies associated with the product in question are all welcome to give me their eplanations as to why they did what and didnt do this that and the other.

  6. Alright, so i get up this morning, warm the car up while i drink breakfast. Then hop in and run my brother to school. half way to school...like five minutes i wood it...and 4,000 it feels as though i have a turbo leak(buckin back and forth) however i have no turbo so i lift; runs fine through the gears shifting at 3,500. Go for it again, since it may have had to be cleared out, same but it bucks at 4,500 but i run it through to 6,000; when i lift this time i run it down through the gears to 40mph in third gear; few seconds later runnin at 40mph at 0rpm try downshifting to "bump start" two or three times, nothin. What is goin on? Could it be my fuel pump is goin out...or maybe still runnin fine just cant pump enough fuel for my aftermarket cam? Before it all started i had put new plugs in it and it ran great, the plugs read slightly rich but not pig rich and not super lean...someone help me out!

  7. i wish i would have seen those sooner...i still like the lower profile bullets that i had already purchased...my question is if i will still be able to use the same dimmensions and use the full mirror with such a low profile mirror as the bullet II...would i need to push the dimensions out a bit? closer to the driver...etc.

  8. i ordered a set of the bullet II mirrors from thezstore.com; now i did order them with the intention of placing them on the fenders, would it be a problem with these style mirrors or would i just simply have to mount them a little further out since that do not have the tall stock on them as the originals do?

  9. WHere can i find a replacement booster...or a different set-up. ive looked on here about it, and found a couple options. just kinda confussed about which one will work. im not lookin to do any modification, or welding, but i would like a better set-up and feel than what i currently have(Stock). ive noticed a wilwood set-up used by a few people, actually pictured their attempts and sucesses. wondering if i can just ditch the whole booster set-up; i race go-karts, obviously a bunch different. But i'd like to have the same braking feel, super positive feeling. In a go-kart the brakes are rear only with dual cylinders, and one caliper, the brakes are fully applied with the motion of about half an inch. Now it's obvious that i cant have a half an inch of motion before full aplication of the brakes, although somethin coparative would be totally awesome. Now aside from the go-karts i have driven, and ford focus svt, and an mitsubishi lancer evolution viii, those brakes have felt nothin but impressive, not quite a go-kart, but somethin closer to those feelings would be awesome; mayeb im jsut lookin for somethin more modern.

Now mods are an option but i definately wanna keep it as david(me) friendly as possible, im not stupid, but im no mechanical genius either.

gimme as many options and links as you possibly can, and i'll try to figure somethin out...of course more questions will follow
