so its Sr20Det with VE head or Sr20Ve with a turbo? In your opinion Lunor240z, how will this option benifit you? What are some upgrades seen with adding the "vtec" haha to the sr?

LOL! Now this is just turning into a stupid argument. oh well good discussion so far guys! All i was lookn for was some advice on how to go about the swap! Not a english lesson or the rule book on how to post on Hybrid-Z. Thanks to everyone who offered some interesting info for me:p I will post pics up at the end of the month for those who find this swap as interesting as I do:cool:!

i agree that NA feeling has a very beeefy and powerful touch to it. Im not into american cars thats my only thing. And i like to think of myselff as a purist so we jsut differ in that sense:icon10:

common sense is my opinion and theres no such thing as a wrong opinion. I mean anytihng can be put into anything. what so wrong with saying that the sr in a Z is easy, affordable, understandable, and quite differernt? I dont know where that doesnt fall into your version of 'common sense' but it sure falls into mine. The swap goes down on the 23rd of the month, then ill have a real opinion on how it drives/feels from actual experience, rather then words.

Z32 2 door hard top was spec'ed at 3299. thats what nissan says, its ALWAYS DIFFERNT WHEN ACTUALLY WEIGHED. i sure you know that though right?
