  1. I have been looking into getting new injectors for a while and I have searched around and found that a lot of people are using the 440cc supra injectors.

I want to go a little bigger and get 550cc ones. I looked on ebay for 550cc supra injectors and came up with these...

    and

I basically want to know if those are good choices and will fit. They look a little thicker than nissan injectors.

If there is any better suggestions, I am open to them. Price is really no big deal as long as it's reasonable.

    Thanks.

  2. I don't know what's worse, the wing or the DEL SOL front bumper grafted on... This kinda hurts my feelings. I feel so bad for that poor Z.

I should buy it, and as the guy is counting the money, rip off the wing and use it to smack off that bumper.

"Yours for $2000 or better offer." You're kidding right...

  3. I can never tell what these things really look like when looking at memeber's builds. I know they have a 4in. exaust, and a 90* bend on the housing... but I need a little ID help.

By the way, no one after looking at this bid on this please... I really need to get this (if it is an HY35w) before leaving for the sand box for 6 months.:icon_frow

  4. Hey I was just out looking at my car and I realized that I have a strut bar... it got me thinking of how many other people have strut bars. I have the MSA adjustable one, but there are many others out there. Maybe you should take that into consideration as well.

Like I said, I'll buy one, but I don't want to have to lose my strut bar. So if you could design around that too, I'd be happy. LOL.

  5. I hate to bring up a some what finished thread... but am I going to have to cut the spacers off the bottom of the rear shocks (3016's) if I am using those springs? I keep trying to read deeper into these shocks, and I'm driving myself insane...

So I guess the question is, if I'm not planning on lowering my car any, do I need to cut the spacers???

I want a 100%, bet my car on it answer. Preferably.

    Thanks.

  6. If you want to lower your car more than 2'' and have a proper amount of shock travel left your going to have to section your struts.

I don't want my car any lower than stock, maybe 1in. at MAX. I also don't want to spend more than like $600 total, cause I need most of my money for the turbo motor, and the re-wire.

Like I said, I'm looking for something that I can drive to the track, race, then drive home. Also, this is my daily for right now.

  7. I really need to upgrade the suspension for the Hallet events here. I was like one click away from buying the shock and spring setup off of ebay, then I remembered reading all the bad mouthing about the progressive springs in front. "Good" for a street application, but not so good on the track. And the lowering of about 2ins. is going to make my lower valance(sp?) rub the road as I drive.

Well I have been throughly reading each thread about said set up (tokicos) and I then went and tried to make my own combo. I really don't care about it lowering the car too much, but I just want something I can drive to Hallet, track it, then drive home.

    Here are the springs:

And then I'll just buy the Illuminas:

    http://www.thezstore.com/page/TZS/CTGY/PSDC02C

    Total price: $500 + Shipping.

Anyone running this set up? And am I going to have to cut the spacers off the bottoms if I buy from MSA???

    Any help is appriciated,

    Thanks,

    SrA Brandon Wilson

  8. I just completed my S12+8 brake upgrade on my '73.

I got the new calipers, all hardware for them, new hard lines, new '79 master cylinder, new '79 brake booster, and some new rotors, which were the hardest things I've ever had to find.

Well, after I finished, I had to hook up the booster to the intake manifold. I wasn't paying attention to which way that valve thing was. (Don't know what it's called, much less what it's for.) It has one side that is sloped and the other is flat. Also it has an arrow pointing to one of the ends. It was mounted on the firewall.

I guess what I'm asking is, what is it, and how does it go in line from the manifold to the booster. How do I put it back?

    Thanks,

    SrA Brandon Wilson

  9. Does anyone know where to get 69-73 front hubs at. I recently was sold the wrong front rotors, and got a little hammer happy thinking they were correct... I just need some, don't care if they are 34 to 38 years old. LOL

I really need some. And also, I didn't know rotors were so hard to find, and then when you find them... they cost over $140 for stockers. Maybe I just don't know where to look, but I haven't been able to drive her for over a week and a half... and I don't like the way my wife drives.

    Well, thanks for any advice.

  10. I've been trying for days to get some vented rotors... I can't find any that will "plug and play" except MAYBE these on ebay...

I just need some help on this. Are these crappy or will they be ok... I just don't have any room to resurface.

    Thanks

  11. Is it too thick to have in the diff. and the trans. in the winter? I just bought some because I am grinding on 75-90 (mobil 1). It says it's ok for a GL4 application, but I'm thinking it's just too thick, and I should exchange it.

I want Redline MT-90 because everyone praises it, but couldn't find it. I went out looking at AutoZone and O'reallys (I know that's not how you spell it.) I also went to Napa and to Pepboys. No one has it around here. If I should just get it, then maybe get it online...

    Thanks for any help.
