if you are using the t-5, you may want to find a speedometer cable out of an 82 turbo 280 as they also use a t-5. That should retain stock gauges, or you could swap in a turbo cluster. Im not positive this will work, but its a thought

How do i know the differences in the steering?
Is a rear end of a 300zx a bolt in or a fab. in?
