Alright so I have a 1972 240z and I'm looking to swap out the 4 speed for a 5 speed. I have read that the 280z transmission will bolt up with no problems but I was looking at the 280zx turbo tranny and was leaning towards making that upgrade because I will eventually buy a 280 motor and have it bored to something like 3.1 and put on either my existing E88 or buy a E31. And I was not sure if the 280z transmission could withstand the horses. So my question is will the 280zx turbo tranny bolt up? Or will the 280z 5 speed be hefty enough? Any input please! Thanks, Nolan
