[R32-GTS-4D Donar Car Qustion]

Hello,

 

I am new here and thinking about the RB 20swap. I found a donor car. Its a 92-R32 GTS-4. I know the 4 wheel drive set up will not work. I am put it into a 1970 240.

 

Will this engine work? what do i need to do to convert the 4 wheel drive system into two? People have to hold me that I just need to swap the tranny for 2 week drive, but i dont see how?

 

Any help would be appreciated.

I don't think anyone has ever cut into the space time tunnel, at least not in our time!

Hello,

 

I am installing an Rb 20 engine. But for the fuel system I am thinking of installing a 15 gal fuel cell. I am thinking of cutting out the spare tunnel/well( I guess you call it) has anyone every done it? I would weld sheet metal over top of it. Any thoughts?

Thanks for the advice. I seached but nothing come up. I can get a complete Rb20 ready to go. For cheap. Complete car. RB 20 are a little harder to find. But I can get a trann for pretty cheap that would do the trick.

I been wanting to updated my 1970 240z. I like the idea of putting in an RB20. I found a donor car that would be perfect. its a R32-GTS-4. RB20. I know its four wheel drive. How hard is it to convert the 240 into 4 wheel drive? Can i keep it two wheel drive? is that possible, I just seal up the front drive shafts?

 

Any advise would be greatly appereaited.
