I tried many other ways with the cam settings this is what worked for me. Rising and falling edge didn't ever work for me... my L28ET distributor is locked full clockwise.

set timing at 21 degrees idle

i think 200 shipped is the new price? a fair bit of design went into these.

I have one on my vh into datsun cedric project which has very little room between the block and chassis rail and with 2 90deg fittings the hoses come out right next to the block.

FraZ, what oil filter relocator kit did you use? I bought the block on ebay. wondering if I need to go with a -12 orb to -10 orb reducer. only reason I say this is cause most of the universal kits seem to be -10an. greatly appreciate your advice. I know this bottle necks it and would negate the fact that it starts as a -12 but id like to hear your setup. mine is going in a 240Z swap.
