  1. Jes at www.wait4meperformance.com did a fantastic job at reprogramming my PCM.
  2. I'm using the Centerforce DF clutch. The mods are the usual beginner mods; CAI, Headers and a little performance tune on the PCM.
  3. Fired the LS1 up this after noon before I headed in to work and test drove it, WOOT ! I had a bad feeling the clutch would give me problems, but the clutch works GREAT ! I only drove it down the driveway, turned around a few times and parked the car since I don't have a tag/insurance on it yet..hehe. Oh I can't wait to get it on the highway...............
  4. Very well put. When my car turned over the first time today it scared the ♥♥♥♥ out of me. But, I had the BIGGEST grin on my face hearing the thing sit there and idle. BTW, my car is VERY loud inside the garage with open headers..LOL
  5. Got the LS1 started today, WOOT I still need to wire up the fan and clean up some misc wiring. BIG THANKS to VinhZXT for all the help on the wiring and HybridZ for the archive of information to help me along the way !!! I'll try to get some videos made next week of it
  6. I'm glad you got yours on the road at least, hehe. Mine's still up on jackstands waiting for it's wiring to be completed.
  7. This thread helped me A LOT. http://forums.hybridz.org/showthread.php?t=128320&highlight=ls1+fan
  8. I used the JTR LS1 radiator. I had to cut up one hose I got from JCI to make the lower hose, which fit perfectly. I need to buy another hose splicer for the upper one though...such a PITA.
  9. Torque down the final bolts a few hours ago. Worked on the fuel line and intake ducting as well. I'm getting sooo anxious now Sorry for the crappy picture, old digital camera that sucks.........
  10. Ok, thanks for clarifying that for me As for the bleed tube, do you place it INSIDE the screw???
  11. Tonight I installed my new GM Hydraulic Cylinder. I'm wondering what's the best way to bleed it? Should I try and bleed it before I put the trans back together or wait until the trans is put back together? Also, the manual says to put a plastic/rubber line on the bleeder screw to bleed it, do I put the line INSIDE the small hole??? Picture is for reference.
  12. Got the "new" JCI mount installed. Fitment was flawless as it should be. I also split the trans open and removed the clutch and flywheel. Flywheel will be resurfaced on Tuesday. Replacing the clutch and having flywheel resurfaced was the last thing I needed to do to "prep" the engine itself before I dropped it in. I might be able to get the engine dropped in on Wed-Thurs !!! My new toy
  13. Here's the setup I'll be running on my 02 LS1: Clutch: http://store.summitracing.com/partdetail.asp?autofilter=1&part=CTF%2DDF017010&N=700+0&autoview=sku New Hydraulic Cylinder, which IS needed for the above used clutch: http://paceperformance.com/index.asp?PageAction=VIEWPROD&ProdID=24693
  14. They are $63. http://store.summitracing.com/partdetail.asp?part=TAY%2D79203&FROM=MG
  15. Won't let me edit my previous reply but here they are. These are Taylor wires for the LS1 from Summit. The boots are shorter than the stock boots. They fit really good IMO.
