  1. laern how to read your plugs. start with a 75 shot run a pass as soon as your done turn your car off take your plugs out and examine them. this can tell you lots of things, to lean, detonating, etc. then if everything is good pull a degree or how ever many, step up the shot to a 100 run another pass and repeat.

as for the stand alone fuel system i agreee way over kill for a 150 shot just make sure your pump can keep up.

  2. ok a bit of background iam building a 510 drag car v8 No2 blah blah any ways iam keeping it independant in the rear just because it's different i finally decided on coilovers got the strange adjustables well i tube framed the rear of the car and put in a q45 diff built new shock towers and tubbed it. also bought some 300 zx rear hubs and now it's time to build the knuckles, controll arms and do brakes so my questions

1: what brakes should i go with? it is gonna be a drag car with some light street driving but will need to be able to stop after hopefully a single digit 1/4 mile run  basically i want to stay as cheap as i can in the rear but also work so maybe some stock replacment z32 rotors and calipers from ebay? since the car will likely weigh 2000 or under

2: half inch plate will be thick enough for the knuckles right? with proper gusseting.

3: controll arms, should i do just one lower or do a lower with a narrower top one also. and if i do just a lower i dont use the hiem rod ends that pivot do i? i get the ones that dont pivot. well what if i do a lower with a smaller upper do i use the pivoting hiem joints were in attaches to the knuckle or the ones that dont pivot?

thanks for the help. it seems like people here mostly build for road course but i have seen some drag racers here so any help will be appreciated

  3. so i am looking for some coilovers to use in the rear. iam re doing the whole back of the car, big tubs, Q45 diff, so no rules on coilovers, iam keeping it independant cause i want it to handle some what well in some twisties but it is mainly a weekend drag car. coming from the front wheel drive camp just looking for some direction in suspension.
