I like that hatch, the recesses for the hood latches is a nice touch.
Any chance you'd be willing to share that 3d scan file? I've been trying to find one for a while.
The scan is not perfect, I got it from someone else over Australia. DM me and I’ll send it to you.

why don't you just cut the whole old roof out, its a little more work, but its a lots better looking and weight saving.

Personally I would repair it, obviously you love that body kit enough that you were will to buy it overseas. I did the same thing like you and was not happy with the g-nose kit that I got from japan. I ended up selling it and make my own full body kit. Good luck

can you just repair it by adding more figerglass in the back.

thanks for the follow, lol no, I’ll be making Fiberglass Molds for the whole body except the roof. The chicken wire was just for the plug.

Hi Seattlejetster,
so sorry for not mentioning that this car will be a track car, so it won’t be going around shopping malls looking for what’s on sale on the weekend.
since it’s a race, the stock fuel tank will NOT be used, maybe I can snake the exhaust around it.
ripping the side skirts will not be an issue because the suspension is designed to travel 2” up and 2” down.
There are no changes on the hood other than the two heat exit vents from the radiator and intercooler.
In the end, this is just a rendering, so little thing might change as my build goes along.
Thanks

my hood mold is made for racing only, no inner reinforcement and no stock mounting hinge supports, design for hood pins mount only.
