  1. i purchased the Datsun as a vehicle to get me to and back from the beach. i enjoy the back roads on my motorcycle where i spend hours driving through turns. Might as well do it in something fun.

i don't drive the vehicle to commute at all. maybe gets driven once every other week.

i chose the drilled rotors because they were available and i never ran them any of my in my previous vehicle but moto's.

I've seen them abused but i never really actually tested them out.

i always want a feel of something before i say my word.

  2. willwoods installeds with all t3 components.

on 15's they fit over the whole brake system but hit front caliper plate.

so it is possible to run 15s on wilwoods but with a whole spacer deal. will try to have a set with the correct spacer soon :)

heres some photos also on the wheel studs i have chosen with an updated DORMAN stud book with closest measurements to 240z studs of what i can find.

the last book was dated up to 2000. so yea...

massive welds. went about 1/2 inch lower on the towers since I've seen most Z'splates on top it seemed like the shock nut would hit the hood.

is this correct? i bought longer bolts. but then the inner caliper has more cap for a pad. so i micro metered in washers and came to about 14.20?

also any actual measurements on wheel spec with studs to run 15's on these if possible. im looking into adapters.

    what do you peepz have?

  4. already ordered the TTT stuff.

i dont think i can remove those bumpsteers again. the threads are really old and weak itll be a great risk to not strip them. its a hastle to not strip anything on this vehicle with its age.

here is the Dorman 240z stud size. still looking to see what i can run. .512 to translate the front.

  5. any updates on your wheel setup?

    i have a 1972 240z

currently building exactly what you are.

    t3 weld coilovers

    t3 bump steer

    t3 lower control arm

    t3 tie rod

    t3 camber plate weld

    t3 tension rod

wilwood 4 piston 12.2 roto slotted brakes.

where im stuck is wheels and studs. currently running old school boyd's trying to buy a set of Rota Rkr 15s

so my 15's wont clear the tie rod because of the t3 bump steer.

so my guess is now add wheel spacers/ longer studs.

any info on running rota rkr 15s without spacers? and would they clear the tie rod.
