    Looking to do something similar to mine (although with an RB25DET) - What did you decide on?

     

    I thought you could get an old refurbed unit for the engine and then just run the custom lines into the stock condenser/evaporator (or can I buy Rb25DET of these too) & controls for the 240z? Or am I being too simple?

    Sets are available through techno toy tuning.

     

    You can buy replacement lenses online to change the colors to euro spec colors.

    The techno tuning ones are more expensive than the new JDM sets coming from Japan :(

     

    Where's the best place to get the lenses? I assume the wiring would need to be changed but that seems relatively simple?

    Good Shop/Indi that can inspect an S30 for me? Asheville, NC.

    Thanks! Do you know of any shops that would be happy to carry out an Inspection? I'm mainly looking for someone that is able to check all the common areas for rust, and to ensure it hasn't been in a crash before.

     

    The car has had a respray, so one thing that 'concerns' me is that it's had a crash, and it's been (possibly poorly) repaired and then sprayed over.

     

    Also, I'd be needing someone to do some slight work to the car, hence the preference for a shop

    I drove the crap out of it on Saturday during ZDayz and had a blast. I dropped the tank off yesterday at the radiator shop to boil it out and seal it. I figure I should be able to pick it up early next week and get it back in that weekend.

     

    My buddy is going to be making some more of the Datass emblems soon with a higher resolution printer (mine was printed super low rez as it was a prototype). ill talk to him to see if he wants to sell them.

     

    I could be keen! Even just to stick up on my garage wall!

    Believe it or not this project is still alive.  I just wrote a huge long essay detailing every bit of this project and a tribute to johnc whose fingerprints are all over my car and wouldn't you know I accidentally closed the page and my whole disertation was gone in a blink of an eye.  Suffice to say, I'm proud to say its actually running for the first time.  Betwen johnc and Vildani I've had the best working on my car.  Can wait to finish it and bring it out to some shows.

     

    You weren't lying when you said it'd take a few years!
