Waiting on time, money, etc... mostly time. Life happened.
Still having issues with my adapter
But I'm moving ahead slowly- working on piping, throttle cable is almost done, radiator pipes getting closer.... but I'm sitting here with a bum ankle
The radiator is a 2 core griffin, needed reverse inlet/outlet.
Sorry to hear about the life/ankle
I just got a hold of a T5->Aerostar adapter if you feel like scrapping the whole 6spd, there are 3 left for sale here
I'm excited to hear the news of progress, but totally hear ya when it comes to the whole "life" thing..

I'm about to bring this back from the dead- After months of searching, I have found someone making T5 -> Aerostar bellhousing adapter. There are only 3 left.
Here are the pics -
They can be purchased here or you can email Tom Dooley Thomas [at] FiberSpec.com

I recently picked up a non-wc t5 I intend to use for a swap into my 72 240z. I need to use a 94-95 T5 input shaft as it is slightly longer than other T5 input shafts. This extra length will account for the thickness of a bellhousing adapter I'm using. Does anyone know if Non-WC T5 input shafts can interchange with WC T5 input shafts? I remember long ago hearing there is a trick to this and that it is possible, but I can't seem to confirm this..
Thanks

was there any clearancing of the firewall required for the coolant flange on the rear of the of the engine on one of the heads? Any pics of the final engine mounts? Looks great!

did you make your own header flanges? You have a PM

any clearance issues with the crank pulley? do you have any pics of the mounts? are you mounting the engine with the original mounting locations directly aligned with the existing crossmember mount locations? I'm actually in the process of the same swap. Motor will be in the machine shop next week, trans is on the garage floor, and the car is waiting patiently..

Here's the start of my VQ trans adapter...
Very nice. I'm excited to see how this goes.
