Decent swap, wiring harness was a bit of a nightmare for so called "plug and play".... Custom headers to clear steering and brake unit. New radiator lowered rack and pinion steering and welded a oil pan guard on cross member in case of any "bottom outs".. -
Body in great shape. Original owner bought the "Rust Protection" option at Datsun dealer... Well worth to $375.00 back in '83... Guy had every receipt from day one of ownership. -
I am looking for any suggestions for the correct differential to install in my 1983 280zx non turbo. I have installed an LS1 out of a GTO and I am using the six speed transmission also. I am not sure what rear end is currently in he car. How can I tell, and what does anyone recommend to use so ruin the drivetrain?? I was going to modify the underneath and use the GTO rear end but then I have to drop another $1500 for custom axles. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

I am looking to put stainless headers in my 1983 280ZX LS1 conversion. My drivers side looks to be able to clear a rear discharge manifold, but the passenger has the starter in the way. Any suggestions.
