  1. I have read a bunch of the thread info and it seems that some have built their own mounts but most have bought their mounts.  I would like to build mine and didn't know if anyone had ever measured any specific dimensions for them?  I have a 1973 240z and a RB25DET.  I am planning on using the standard 240z mounts/insulators and then installing the custom brackets over them.  I will attached pictures of what I have so far.

  2. Hey mtnickel, sorry for the late response.  I had already ordered a RB25DET and it should arrive tomorrow.  I am on a pretty limited budget and wanted to make sure that I actually finish the car first. (Complete restore)  Then probably add some money after she is running and driving for a year or so.  Thanks for the input though.  I am in the process of stripping down the engine bay and prepping for the RB to arrive.  In a bare minimum, get it running sort of scenario, can I run stock brakes and or suspension?  I have a 1978 280Z that I am going to strip for parts.  It looks like the rear end is a good swap.  Any other specific parts that I should swap over?  thanks for any help of info.

  3. Hi guys!   So I am new to the forum, but a car nut and about to jump into a 1973 240z-RB25 build.  I wanted to get your reviews on a company named "JDM Quality Auto Parts" out of Canada.  Any insights?  I just didn't know if anyone on here had any experience with them.  Hoping to place an order today, unless someone on here has a spare swap kit sitting at there house??  lol jk  thanks in advance!
