Hello!
Its finally warm enough in the North East to begin making progress on my 78 280z. I rolled the car out and got it running the other day and out of the blue the valvetrain started ticking quite loudly.
I pulled the cover off and found that a lash pad had fallen off and was now just sitting there. I am guessing the varnished gas caused a valve to stick and sling off the pad.
- What is the easiest way to get the pad back on? I've replaced the old gas ( 3 years old), pump, and lines... and it should be good to go once I get the pad back under the rocker arm. Any input would be appreciated.
