Seem to be pretty common spots. Id replace those front frame rails from front to back, as I wouldn't trust them one bit

I have one from a '77 if that would work

More video!
I've been keeping up to date on these videos and I absolutely love them! Really inspiring me to get work done on my Z and making me consider filming some videos

Wow I like that a lot...

You can use either of those with a 5 or 6 speed RWD trans meant for the motor. A full AWD swap has been done but the cost is insane, there is little to no documentation and the time and fab work is astronomical.

I'd be interested in Grid V's eventually

Loosen the jam nut first, then use a pipe wrench. Be careful because there is a small spring and bearing assembly inside that might pop out a bit. You dont want to lose that

I had this on my 280z when I got it. I pulled it off and it didnt cause any problems. No idea what it is for though.

Hey everyone, Im looking for a rear valence for a Z car. Mine is a 280z but I' m willing to buy one for and earlier car and make it work. MSA and Zsource sell them but they are pretty pricey. If anyone has a parts car and is willing to cut it off, please let me know. Im willing to discuss price.
Thanks,
Nick

Looks like a good cheap option, but I would be concerned about body/frame warping over time, especially if you're cutting out the floor pans and frame rails
