Yesterday, I received my camber plates from ground control and was very happy on the quality. The suck part is that, they didn't include a manual on how to install these onto the s30. So for now, im on my own .

 

Before I can start to measure where my camber plate is going to be mounted at, I will need to cut the top round peace that is in the center of the z engine bay strut housing (sorry dont no what its called, but from my knowledge, this is the best way of explaining it lol).

 

Then I use a paint marker to trace out the camber plates, so i will know what is needed to be cut off and kept.

 

I then used a air disc cutter to cut off the highlighted part. Will after an hour and a half cutting both side, this is how it looks like. Uninstall and install plates on vehicle.

 

 

 

Install my coilover onto the plates and here's is how the front looks like.

I'm curious about the S12 crossmember as well there a quite a few here in the socal junkyards. Benefits? Any Drawbacks?

for me huge benefits POWER steering , Infinity q45 brakes and s13 HKS coilovers, you can use almost any brake system that we can use on a 240sx, this car now drives , stops , Handles like a newer car, I only want it this for racing, and autocross

how is the handling compared to when it had the L series engine? Rb25 is heavier right?

the Rb25 is heavier but more power and s13 coilovers it handles better than ever before

I'll be there. I took the day off from work and I'm hoping to have my interior done (cross your fingers). Unfortunately I had an unpleasant surprise when I took my carpet out today. I have a good size hole in my floor board that goes right through to the frame rail. Rail looks good but the hole really sucks. But other than that just gotta get some carpet and paint a couple more things.

 

same thing happen to me when i took out the carpet and there was a big hole , but i will work on that later on....

also i need to fix a hole on the hatch , someone broke the lock on the hatch...i want to fix that befor GG....

That is the second time I've seen that video. First time I just happened to stumble across it while looking for z car vids. You do some great work. The beginning is the Krispie Kreme at the Tacoma mall right? Its hard to tell from that distance.
