Ok guys, like many of you I just did my alternator upgrade on my stock 76 280z for a new 280zx alternator along with voltage regulator removal and wire solder..here is my question I know on new cars to see if the alternator is working , you removed one of the batt + or - and the cars stays running, so I did the same thing on my car and as soon I removed one of these the car turned off, is it normal on these old all cars???

Well I just called MSA and Black Dragon and nope they don't sell single pans. Does anybody here know or have a single passenger side 280z pan laying around????

Got bored thru a few weeks vacation..

Getting ready to intalled new rocker panels on my 76 280z..anyone here knows an easy way to removed the old ones from the car? I know I have to removed the old spot welds, but its there an old trick to this, also what welder you guys recommend can I used a mig flux wire no gas welder??
