  1. Ah i miss interpreted your question. ugh well i would search for Head options or what not and try to find out. i think that the e88 is a stock carbed head so i dont know your best bet would be a p90 or there is one more that i'm not sure on but is pretty common for a turbo swap

  2. Hey http://rockauto.com/ sells Fel-pro HG's and i've searched that brand here and heard good things. I would recomend you look for yourself though.

    And dont forget you need a HG for your engine not your car (make sure you're looking at the 80's zx).

  3. I'm 15 and bought a Z because they're cheap which means i can justify running the piss out of it, and when i breaks down i actually know how to fix it (for the most part). The engines in them are so simple and are strong motors and on top of that there is so much room in the engine bay you could put anything you wanted in them.

    The Datsun 'family' is amazing people will go out of their way to help you out which is awesome. Everybody that owns a Datsun honks and waves at fellow Datsun owners. Hybridz is around..(anything you could dream of has either been done or talked about.)

    And they have so much character that you really cant get with any current cars (meaning they look #$^@#$^ amazing!). They're fast cars (they keep up with muscle cars) and even if they beat you in a straight line once you get out on some curvy roads you'll loose them in a heart beat.

    Last reason is because I could afford it on my own no help from my parents (Money wise and also mechanically i basically got no support other than "it's alright if you bring it home")

  4. yes i did check the wipe pattern and it looks perfect. i did a search before this thread and found the thread on valve lash. everything checked out ok. i hear no noise at idle and nothing pass 1500 rpm. i'm starting to think its my chain. its hard to hear cuz the noise transfers through the head. but is more noticeable at the front. i think! i just want to figure this noise out. its really annoying and embarassing! especially when driving in traffic, or even in a parking lot. i want people to turn there heads and say nice car!!! not "what the hell is that noise? POS!!!" just to let everone know, the car runs great! has no problems on take off, cruising speeds and especially at wot to redline. oh, i forgot to mention, after doing the engine rebuild, i replaced the cam once cuz i didn't like the performance, and again when i changed the head to a p90. the cams i had were complete kits. included the HD springs, lash pads, rockers(feet). everthing was replaced again with the new cam. and yes, that means i pulled the head again. sucks! you guys think i could have damaged the tensioner some how? or maybe stretched the chain? i don't see how but anythings possible. to all who's watching this thread any info is greatly appreciated. thanks again!!!

    I'm getting that same noise and i was told that it could be my valves BUT LOL it's pretty embarrassing haha
