I'm doing one side at a time due to lack of time, have one more side to go. There's no doubt they can lower the car 3+ inches
-
Thanks I'm in the process of installing them now!
-
Also that they didn't know anything about a revised version of the coilovers too make them go lower as jpn garage stated...so who do we listen too? Lol
-
I called an emailed cxracing and they said the kit will lower 1-3"
-
Thanks for confirming I believe it's the Mk1 mr2. I'll have to double check though.
-
Well it's obvious you can use any strut that is originally for the 280z but once you section it you need to find one that's short enough I'm guessing. I'd like to go 3-4" lower then stock
-
Kerrys914, same struts as in mr2 in the front and stock in the rear?
-
225f and 250r is what I was shooting for. I believe I read mr2 struts for the front and stock front 280 in the rear? Is that recommened or should I do mr2 struts all around
-
I do know I have to section struts and the work involved and all that good stuff, I've read people using different struts but never specifying how low they're going, or even reviews on the ride after words. I'd say my goal is around 3" lower.

I know this has probably been covered a million times but I'm still have a hard time finding any answers. I'm not sure what strut inserts I should use with GC coilovers for my 280z. I've seen people use mr2 inserts but have not heard any sort of reliability or ride comfort with review with them. This car will be mainly used for cruising and spirited driving. Thanks in advance

Looking to buy coilovers for my 280z let me know what you have!
280z harness removal
in Nissan RB Forum
Posted
Starting to prep for an rb, was just curious on the best way remove the stock engine harness from the body harness. I will be going with a wiring specialties engine harness for the new motor. Does it need to tie into the body harness at all? Any help would be great, thanks.
