I tried multiple searches and found nothing so please forgive me for starting a repeat subject.
I have 77 280Z with rust through the torsion boxes on the front suspension. I know years ago this was pretty much death null for high horsepower or ragtop conversions, is this still so? Just starting this project and I'm shooting for @450rwhp and a rag top with a full cage tied into the existing unibody from radiator support to rear shock towers.
Is there a repair kit for this particular problem or has anyone done it and could give me some pointers. I can pretty much figure this out myself if I go this route but some help would be appreciated.
If the news isn't good does anybody have a line on a good solid 240-260-280 bare body out there? I'm in northern Idaho but I'm a truck driver so anywhere is possible in the lower 48.
