77 280z, Do I need to crank the regulator to get it to grip the meshing. Ive tried and tried to get it in without cranking but cant. Thanks for the advice by the way, really appreciate all the help

The connection between the pinions snapped off. Nothing is broken, as much as I can see. Just wondering how to put it back. And if I can do it without take the regulator out

Hand crank is removed. Just the big gear with teeth like in the picture, B , came off the crank.

My window crank (A) came off the gear (B.), the spring is still in but I dont know if i can push against the spring and fit the crank (A) back in where the teeths (B.) are without taking it out of the door panel. Its hard to explain, look at pictures. Thanks in advance for the help.
