  1. question.... I have never seen it done but does anybody know of some one who has swapped out the z31 head lights with the z32 headlights or if it is even possible...?
  2. if you have a s1 you have to add a ignitor right? the s2 has the ignitor built in and so does the ls2 coils right?
  3. hey, not sure if I have the s2 wiring diagram. I do have this one
  4. awesome! thanks pat! my rb25 is also a s2, if that helps
  5. hey, anybody selling some ls2 coil packs? perferably with the wiring...
  6. hey, my coils are pretty shot, I have been looking around for some new coils but no such luck. I talked to a guy on nicoclub and he suggested to try ls2 coils. anyone know how to swap out rb25 s2 coils for ls2's?
  7. hey, I got a coil leak on my series 2 rb25det. I was wondering if there are any temporary fixes until I can find and afford some new coils packs?
  8. hey, anyone selling some coil packs for a rb25det series 2? thanks
  9. hey, I have been following chris's sticky on the rb25det wire up but I am stumped I have a series 2 rb25det harness. I do not have the AF04(solid red wire) wire, it is a blank spot . Where else could I get the main power? I have everything hooked up but no power to the eccs... some help would be wonderful!

  11. yeah, but its better than gouges from rivets. haha woops
  12. took the tranny off today to see how the clutch is and the throwout bearing is and to get the fly wheel turned.
  13. Aight! did some painting over my spring break. Tried to paint the valve covers and intake manifold with them still on the engine, didnt work so well. So i took them off and did it up. PICZ! naked vavles... OOOoooo the covers And put all together
  14. actually fit the RB yesterday! It looks soooo nice sitting in its new home. I am getting so anxious to get it finish! some pics got about 1.5" of space between the engine and the radiator support and about an in from the engine to the fire wall. I like it tight I also picked up my new Rack and pinion today
  15. You and me both I will be sending you my oil pan in a week and a half - two weeks.
  16. Me and my bro did alot of work on the Z yesterday. Took off the turbo heat shield, The AC compressor and pully system, clutch fan, and stock RB BOV intake pipe. We also made my engine mounts. Next steps are: paint the engine and intake manifold, new timing belt, tranny mounts, fit the engine into the Z and line everything up. Pics! pile of un-needed stuff small but in great shape. Enigne mounts More engine mounts They will work great
  17. worked on the Z today! took out the crossmember! now time to fabricate the new rb engine mount placement no cross member
  18. hmmm, that is an interesting way to do it. That kinda makes me think that the z32 mounts are a different distance apart than the z31 mounts. If i did that i would think the engine would actually be offset to one side. here is a pic of what i am going to do with my mounts that would be cool if you could use the Z ecu. nistune is nice, you can tune to what ever you want pretty much. my brother uses it in his 240z.
  19. hey, whats up! that is sweet that you are doing that to a z32! do you have a RB25det? right now i have a front sump on it but that wont work with the cross member and if you find a rear sump online they are crazy expensive. So I was thinking about converting my front sump to a rear sump myself but I found a guy on here, which I believe his name is PAT1, but he makes them from scratch. SO i will prolly send my front sump to him and ave him convert it to a rear sump. With the mounts, since the RB25 mount are only 18" apart and the z31 mount are 22" apart, i am going to fabricate a plate to bring them in 2" on each side. Also with the z31 mounts they are at the wrong angle, so i am going to cut the engine mounts down 2" (for hood clearance) and at a less steep of an angle. There is a guy on here, i forgot what his user name is but his real name is Jason Ritter, he did the same thing i am doing and he has pics of pretty much every step. When i bought my RB it came with the wire harness and the ecu for it too so that is what i am using for the engine management.
  20. haha no, me and my buddy always talk smack on whos car is better and so I thought it was funny to have it in my sig.
  21. yup! here are some pics of my z what it use to look like my boo boo stupid suv pulled out in front of me and what it looks like now
  22. thanks! its getting there. I need to fabricate my engine and tranny mounts and figure out the oil pan, which more than likely i will be sending it to you but if I could do it myself and save some money that would be nice.
