  1. Thanks for all of the input. I was hoping for kind of a low growl. At 42, I don't like to have to yell to talk to someone in the car. I think the super traps may be a bit loud for my tastes. Josh, it sounds like yours is what I am looking to acomplish but I will be running the shorties, so not sure how that will impact the sound. The other issue is clearence I was thinking some of it would fit in the tranny tunnel and then come out just in front of the rear wheels. I am not sure and I have searched but have yet to see where anyone has done this and it could be because it can't be done. I was just hoping someone has tried it or knows for sure would weigh in. Once agian thanks .

  2. I have searched the forum but have not see where anyone has had daul exhaust exiting infront of rear wheels.I know that there is limited room for mufflers and ground clearance. I was wanting it not to be so loud kind of like the flowmasters that the mustangs but figured they wont fit. I was thinking something like.

  3. Sorry for the double post, but another up date. My boss has 96 Z71 and yesterday it over heated. He had it towed to a shop and they told him it was going to be $900.00 they were going to have to replace the rediator and all the other coolant parts. they were full of sludge and had corroded the radiator. He is taking off tomorrow to do the work himself. Just my two experiences.

  4. I had a 96 grandprix and I was actually part of the class action suit and received a letter when they finally settled. I couldn't wait and had to do the work myself. It clogged my intake and ate the gasket in the cross over passage which inturn caused it to leak into the intake and then burned off. I had so many problems with that car that at 120k I sold it for $50.00. I won't be running that crap in ls1. Just my two cents.

  6. I finally had enough and contacted the http://www.ic3.gov/default.aspx. I included the list of people that emailed me. I am also sending in my complaint to NY Attorney General with a copy of all my receipts http://www.oag.state.ny.us/bureaus/c...complaint.html. I had contacted a lawyer in Albany and he suggested The rockland county DA (Zugibe) has a new internet or white collar crime division. I filed with ic3. These are free. I will wait and if nothing comes of it I told lawyer that I would contact him. So after trying to help others, He send me this "Someone emailed me about what you were doing on the Internet. It wont go unnoticed." My reply is, not much of a threat. What are you going to do, not mail my property to me?

  7. Well, I used PAYPAl and have entered a dispute. I have a copy of all my receipts and his emails. I have contacted a lawyer. I am just trying to keep others from going through this nightmare with him. Thanks. If you have been taken by him I have the complaint form from the Attorny Generals office. send me an email and I will send it to you with the address.

  8. As some of you may know, I sent my harness and ecu to Jeff robert 851 Knox Cave Road Altamont, NY 12009 on July 27th 2008. A month and a half ago today, he said that he was done and when asked about it he said he just hadn't mailed it yet. In the end he has just stopped reponding. Two months ago I had contacted a law firm in albany and they said that they would take my case. Of course once he heard this he made all kinds of promises. I just sent him my last email and last phone call. If you have also been had by this joker, you can send me an e-mail to the address below. I am currently gaining a list of names and address to present to the Attorney General. I am posting this in multiple forums, so it can be cross referenced whenever one of his company names or his name and address are searched.

     

    Today he replied "Idk, After seeing that stuff you posted up everywhere I think I wont be going to the post office anytime soon. What do you think?"

    Do a search on Auto Computer Technologies or Jeff Robert 851 Knox Cave Road Altamont, NY 12009 (518) 872-0421. Since I am at home that was what I did to paste his info just now. I have kept my messages to him in my work email. What amazes me is that you would question me without even doing a little inquiry. About once a month for eight months I would just inquire as to when it would be completed, then he stopped responding altogether. Like I told him my father said you can always start off nice and go ugly, but it is real hard to start off ugly and then become nice. I contacted a lawyer two weeks ago and gave him two more weeks to try to finish it up, but once again he has stopped reponding. I figure that I am out the ECU, Harness and $350.00. I was just trying to Keep others from being in the same boat as me.

  10. I am posting this to try and keep other Hybrid users from being taken. I sent Jeff Robert my ecu and Harness back on July 27,2008 and still have not recieved it. I purchased it on ebay and I went through his feed back and it was all good except for a couple. Then after about two months he pulled everything off of ebay. Yesterday I sent him an email and told him I wanted my stuff back and of course I got another excuse. Yesterday I also contacted a lawyer in albany new york. Their consult fee is $200.00 per hour. I have found many people on the internet that have been taken by this individual.

     

    He seems to create webpages long enough to take money and property and then the page disappears. So far these have been the pages that he has created.

  11. Well, since Vinh put his up I guess I will need to add mine.

     

    Mine is a 75 280z and I am in the middle of putting in an 02 ls1 with the 4l60e. I am using the JCI kit, BTW John is a really nice and understanding guy.

    I bought the engine and tranny in December of 07 and started june of 08. MY kids and I have sanblasted the engine bay and por 15 it. Last week I installed the mounts in car . I am hopeing to have it back on the road before Summers end.

     

    Below is a less efficient alternative to an ls1 .

  12. Ragefear, boy it sure seems that we are just about in the same boat. I was just going to install the LS1, as I started to clean the engine bay and pulling the harness back I found rust on my flor boards. It seems the more I look at it , the more I need to do. My understanding as far as the fuel pump goes is that the ecm from the ls1 harness controls it and the ignition turns it on. My understanding is that you don't need the pcm fromn the Datrsun at all.

  13. Ragefear, thanks. rwwisnesky contacted me and sent me pictures and a diagrahm that he drew. I saw the linkthat you posted, but for some reason I just didn't get it. When I looked at it for some reason I thought that it didn't apply to my situation. Of course, Vinh has been a great help. He was out of town for a while and I didn't want to keep bothering him but I like I said, he is really nice and would go out of his way to help.

    Do you have any better pics? I look at you car domain photo and I am still a little unsure. With the stock motor the purge line ran to the canister the fuel pump feed the line and the return line returned the excesive fuel?

     

    I will take some pics tonight, but the ls1 has two lines one on the rails and the other on the manifold.

     

    When I looked at your setup, it looks as though you have the fuel pump feed to fuel regulator that is "t" to fuel rail/corvette regulator then I am a bit confused because it looks as though there are three fittings on one side and a return?

     

    I am sorry if this is a dumb question.
