  1. Are they both 15x7 0 offset? Panasports are usually worth more than Konigs. I think someone on here had a used set of Panasports for about $400. You can get a new set of Konigs for about $450 shipped. I would guess that they're both currently worth about the same but if the Konigs were cleaned up and painted then they'd be worth more.

If you're interested in selling a set let me know. We have to run 15" in ITS racing and a BMW recently hit me and bent one of my Konigs. I use Panasport and Konig so either would work for me.

  2. I'm also looking for some 15" or larger wheels. Wheels with tires would be even better. I just need some wheels/tires that'll clear the larger brakes so I can move the car around. If you happen to have 17" or larger that would fill out my ZG flares that would be ideal.

  3. About 3 years ago I traded a set of springs and KYB struts for a set of 15x7 Panasports. The "RACE" wheels on CL are a good deal at $350. "RACE" wheels are hard to find. The offset and width might be on the back of the rim. If the other guy passes I might be interested in them for my race car. We are limited to a 15x7 wheel.

  4. are you selling each car for 10-15k? If so thats alittle out of my price range. I guess I should clarify, I am only looking to spend >5k and I plan on redoing most of the interior and getting a new paint job/ fender flares so I dont care too much about paint quality, I basically am looking for a car with NO RUST that currently has an l28et engine that runs well as the interior and exterior are both gonna be changed.

They're $10-15k each. You might want to check out the Carlisle Import show next weekend. A 240Z turbo sold there a couple years ago for only $1500!

  5. I have a 1972 240Z turbo and/or a 1974 260Z turbo that I am getting ready to sell at the Carlisle Import show in a couple weeks. Both cars are 2.8L turbo, intercooled, 5-speed, 4-wheel disc brakes, suspension mods, etc. The 240Z has ZG flares, silver paint, red interior, R200 3.54 rear, etc. The 260Z is Daytona blue, black interior, Miata seats, powder coated suspension, Subaru LSD 3.70 rear, etc. Both cars are very nice but the 260Z had a full restoration and is nicer. I'm not sure of the prices yet but I think somewhere in the $10-15k range is fair. I've attached a picture of the 260Z. Email me if you're interested and I can provide details on each car and pictures.

  6. My brother is the event manager for the Carlisle Import-Kit/Replicar Nationals at the Carlisle Fairgrounds being held May 16-18, 2008.

He needs a couple very nice import cars for the Invitational Display building. They can be stock, modified or race cars. It may be too late to get the car(s) in the event magazine but it is still possible if you submit ASAP.

To have your car considered you should contact Ed Buczeskie, Event Manager at EdB@CarlisleEvents.com or 717-243-7855 ext 131.

  7. I have a few *NEW* 240Z and 280Z reproduction quarters. The 240Z quarters are $250 each and the 280Z quarters are $200 each. I've attached pictures of the 240Z quarters. The 280Z quarters look the same but don't have the indent for the rear bumper. Send email an email if you're interested or have any questions. Shipping isn't cheap since they're so large. To give you an idea shipping from PA to GA using FedEx is $125.

  8. Check the bottom corner of the front windshield. That leak is hard to detect because it's behind the defroster panel and then the water runs behind the dash and down to the floor. Take the carpet out and make sure that everything is good and dry inside. Have someone spray water on different parts of the car till you find the leak.

  9. The squarish ones go on the sides of the outer part of the hatch opening.

The squarish with the round top goes on the upper part of the outer hatch opening. It should be curved on the ends.

The "V" shaped peices go on the sides of the door glass frame on a 280Z. The 280Z frames have a channel for the trim.

The last two that have a section trimmed from the end attach to the frame of the quarter windows...I think...

  10. I might be very intrested in those. I have a set of the Reaction Research rear quarter panels, the subtle Z rear flares, intrested in a trade?

Thanks for the trade offer but I'll have to pass. If you want the quarters just me an email to my user name at comcast.net. <-- Trying to avoid spam!

  11. Adam,

I have a pair of new 240Z quarters. My brother and I put a set on a 1970 240Z and the fit was good. I also have some 280Z quarters if you want to get rid of the indentations for the rear bumper. I'd like $200 each for the 280Z quarters and $250 each for the 240Z quarters. I've attached a picture of the left quarter that we put on the 1970 240Z. We cut the top 2" off the new quarter to splice it below the body line. The new panel goes around to the tail light opening.
