My 1976 280Z was not reving very well when we first purchased and after new plugs and tune up, was still not reving smoothly. After driving for a couple of weeks all of a sudden the car was reving smooth with alot more power. The car had sat a lot previously.

1976 280z : What is the voltage on blower fan connector when fan is set on high. I measured mine and it is 9 volts and with the a/c on there is not enough volume to cool the car properly. Late evening or at night a/c works good because the sun is not beating down in the car. I was thinking it should be 12 volts ?

The lower dash panels are on 76-78 280z's. I have a very experienced Zcar guy ( with Z car junkyard ) that wasnt aware of theses panels also. I showed him brackets for the passenger side. My son and I found one in a 2+2 he had. We are going to look for the drivers side next time. I was told that most owners removed to work on the cars and many were lost that way. They just give the car a cosmetic clean up and cover all wire bundles and mess.
