  1. I just figured I would post an update. It was easier than I thought. Zcardepot sells Yokes for a couple different flanges. In my case it was the flange that measures with OE U-joints (Which I have to replace anyways) Measuring 1.9 X2.25 Inches with 10mm bolts holes. The state specifically to adapt the driveshaft to an R200 Diff. Thanks for all your help guys. I will post a link in case anyone else finds this useful. https://zcardepot.com/products/driveshaft-propeller-shaft-yoke-flange-flange-r200?_pos=1&_sid=3ac0fdede&_ss=r
  2. Awesome!! That's a good read. I have been struggling to find that answer. Thanks guys. I really appreciate it!! That solves as lot of problems for me. Now I don't have to spend a million bucks on some odd CV conversion. Least not yet.
  3. That figures. I don't remember what year the listing said it was from other than a 280z. I just have to find a flange now I guess..Ugg. While I am full of questions? What year 280z half shafts do I need for the swap? I keep reading 240 axles will bind and need 280z w an R200 diff to fit properly. Thanks for taking time to help. I appreciate it:)
  4. I am confused about which driveshaft to use. I am swapping in an R200 diff into my 72 20Z. I had thought that the stock driveshaft pinion flange would swap onto the new differential. That is not the case sadly. The 240z flange is too small. The diff is from a 280z and I am trying to figure out which driveshaft I can use? From what I have read the 240Z shaft is a little too short but I can't really find a definitive answer. Any help appreciated.
  5. Odd re quest. I am trying to get a measurement that I need to move forward in my differential build. I need a measurement from the Diff seal to the outer edge of the flange that bolts to the halfshafts. Anyone here running an R200 long nose that can measure that?/ Pretty Please?? I need to know how far out the stub axle sticks out so I can decide which CV axles I can use. Thanks In advance
  6. So I have a dumb question about R180 and R160 Subaru Differentials. I want to swap in an LSD diff but I am hazy on a few details. The first question is what year Subaru LSD diffs can I use for the swap? Posts and stuff I have read just say use a "K" differential. That brings up the second question. Can I swap the "buttons" from my Z Open diff to keep the stock bolt in axles or is it 100% nesisary to swap the clip style axles that they sell? Then the other questions are about possibly swapping mine for an R160 LSD diff but cant seem to get a clear answer about whether I need axles from a 510 to make it work? I read that the 240z axles are too lo g but that being said. Can they be machined to fit an R160 LSD Dfferential?? Any help would be awesome!!
