[30th anniversary body kit]

I believe the member "mylesblaq" has this kit on his s130.

He pulled it off without making it look to modern/cheesy.

Does anyone actually have this?

I've searched everywhere and can't find pictures of cars with it besides from thezstore's website.

 

What do you guys think of it? Is it a little too cheesy?

I've got a '79 280zx.

I've become quite attached to my s130.

 

I got her earlier this year from the original owners who let it sit for about 15 years after it suddenly died one day.

 

After a lot of diagnosing and wrenching I got her to breathe once again just a few days ago!

reminds me of mine when i started ( the zxr and the white 'turd') i see great potential

 

so what are your plans ?

 

Well my first plan is to get her running.

It's an overall learning experience for me. I happen to not be the handiest guy around cars. I wanted to drive a bad ass car and learn about what exactly I was in and how it worked.

 

I want to get it running and during that, I'm also going to be slowly redoing the interior.

 

I'm excited and this forum has been the most helpful thing of all so far!

Here's my first and only Z.

1979 280zx.

 

[Buying my first Z]

I picked up the car last night from the original owners.

 

In the end I only paid $200 for a clean titled 1979 280zx.

The interior is not the greatest but the body is straight for the most part.

The only damage on the car is a part on the driver side door. During a windstorm a few years ago a tree fell on the door. The damage is closer to the center so it could be worked on.

 

It's for sure going to be a learning experience!

 

Here are some pictures I took after cleaning it a little bit.

I'm not really going for the whole "show quality" pictures yet even though I am a photo major! That'll come later when she's a little more beautiful.

Hello everyone!

I'm new here and this is actually my first post.

 

Tomorrow night I'll be off to buy my first Z.

It's going to be a 1979 280zx.

 

I'm quite excited.

It's only had one owner but it doesn't quite run.

We'll see what I can do.

 

Let's also start by saying that I am not the best when it comes to cars but it's a learning experience.

 

As soon as I can, I'll post some pictures!
