Haha...yeah, the black looks great.
But it's so true what they say, "It's a HUGH PIA to keep clean"
And the tobacco interior will only look new the day it was. Wears/soils very quickly.
Good thing I enjoy washing my car.
Helps that I keep it in the garage during the winter too
Other than that it is NOT a trailer queen. Was purpose built to be driven.
I agree, I've got a black truck, and it is a PIA. Looks super when cleaned, only great when it's not.

This is a great looking car Mr. Brio. Thanks for sharing.
I do like it in black it shows the lines of the body really well.

ol fiat - What a lovely pure example - just the way I like 'em.
More photos please.
Thank you, I will post more pictures when I get it out of the shop, with a new paint job.

I'm finally getting around to posting after enjoying the content of everyone's input for over a year. I bought this car about a year and a half ago. It was originally custom built in 1986 in Winston Salem, N.C. It had been sitting for several years (since '02) so it required a bit of work to get it running, mostly wiring and a stuck clutch. It has a very modified 280Z engine w/1200 miles, that now runs really well. It has been in the body shop since March having all of the loose panels stripped off and redone. I hope we're getting close to being done. Then we're going to have the suspension tuned and try to sound proof the body. I've only driven it 17 miles and "WOW". In my opinion these cars are very under valued. If done correctly they are great drivers and get a lot of attention. The pictures are when I got it, and some years before.

I have one built by Automotive Concepts. They were supposedly one of only 3 certified builders of the Alpha I in the U.S.
