  1. Hey Big-phil,it is nice to see that you are back and posting. I hope that all is well with you and your family.
  2. Oh NO! Not another F&F movie. These have to be the most unrealistic and far-fetched car movies of all time. Absolutely mind-boggling how fake these movies are. The worst car movies EVER!!!
  3. I think he was having some serious marital problems. People thought it was an April fools joke, but I think not.
  4. Hey Guys, I am looking for a stall converter for my Chevy powerglide trans. This is for my '78 280 with 327 SBC. Please reply if you have one. Thanks, Jason
  5. A good way to put an S130 Z to use, just kidding guys! I remember when similar kit cars were offered in the '8o's. One was called a gazelle and used a VW or Pinto drivetrain I think. Another was based off of some type of Lincoln car. Then another used good old SBC Chevy power.
  6. IIRC, this is where the original BigFoot monster truck got its tires/wheels from. I would buy it if I had the room/$.
  7. This is a very simple recipe that uses 3 ingredients. It might sound a little strange, but try it, you will not be disappointed! 1. 1 inexspensive beef roast, not too much fat 2. 1 can of Campbells cream of mushroom soup 3. 1 pack of Liptons beefy onion soup mix Put the soup and mix into your crockpot and stir and heat until they incorporate. Place the meat into the crockpot, making sure to coat all sides with the mixture. Let it rip on low for at least 10, preferably 12 hours. The result is a most tender, flavorful, roast that you will enjoy! The resulting gray is great on rice, along with the meat, mashed potatoes are good also with the gravy. Let me know if you try it and what you think. Jason
  8. Wow, that is very cool of you bartman.
  9. I wondered what happened to this engine. I would have liked to see videos of it all sorted out.
  10. Hell has in fact frozen over. The saints made it to, and won the superbowl!
  11. Someone is paying attention, LOL! It was meant as a joke, I am suprised someone caught on so soon. Actually, I am a stay at home Dad. Mr. Mom, house husband, call it what you will, I am very proud of what I do for my family. Sure we are a bit poorer, but what we save in daycare, health issues from other students, poor evironment at public school, and so on makes it all worth it. The kids are home schooled via online as well. They are doing great. It still puzzles me when some peoples reaction is "that sounds easy, I wish I could do that". Or they seem to look down on me. My wife had the better job at the time when we decided to do things this way. We do not regret it one bit. Sounds easy to you? Take a step or two back and really look at it. It is not so "easy". Anyway, sorry to hijack this thread. Thanks for reading, Jason
  12. I just landed a new gig as a senior urban pharmaceutical representative. Basically I am in charge of inventory, staff, and various transactions between employees and clients.
  13. Unbelievable! I have to laugh though. My Dad does things like this. I love him with all my heart, but he has done many things like this. I remodeled his bathroom a while back. I was unable to be there for a couple of days. So he decides to "help" while I am gone. Oh the disasters I had to re-do. Recently, I replaced 2 ceiling fans in his house, he tries to help but the job ends up taking twice as long. Next time, I am going to send him to the store for some spotted spray paint and maybe a sky hook.
  14. I don't know who is expecting, but CONGRATS!!!
  15. Very nice conversion! I like those headers, I mean extractors.
  16. Nice find! Only $200, even better. Good luck with your project.
  17. Hey Tony, Would you have any pics of the VW swap? I can only imagine how cool that was. Thanks, Jason
  18. My name is Jason, and I am a certified S30-Z-aholic! I am proud to say so! I have owned quite a few cars, but my 1st driveable car, was a '73 240Z. It was my senior year (1989) in high school. It was a raggedy, rusty, p.o.s. I had so much fun in that, pile of sh*t. I wish I still had it, just for kicks. 5 S30Z's later, I now have a worhty builder. V8 SBC here I come!
  19. Oh so close to my b-day, Feb 12th.
