Regarding the kill switch, on most vehicles today there is an oil pressure switch the must sense oil pressure to close the circuit (as you attempt to start the car and then while it is running). It typically provides 12V to a fuel pump relay. This relay provides the 12V to the electric fuel pump. If the oil pressure drops (bad oil pump, low oil level, rollover accident, etc.) the switch opens up and kills the 12V to the fuel pump relay. The pump stops pumping fuel to prevent engine damage or fuel spraying (as in an accident). If you are running a mechanical fuel pump then the switch means nothing to your application.
where could i get this relay from. thanks for making it idoit proof so i could understand it. is there any wiring diragraph that i could look at. so when i wire it up i can double check my work? also where can i get the relay for the fuel pump. this is new to my ears. i didnt know that i had to have a relay to the fuel pump. thanks again, youve been a major help

im not running efi. im running a carter carb/ with a holley blue pump. i was planning to run the fuel pressure send from the FPR. is there any way to run oil/tranny temp from any other place. i was told that if i run a sender in line on the tranny/oil coolers it could give me a reading. all i would need to do is use on of these adapors from jegs.

Stick two bolts into the flange then wedge a long piece of steel between them. Put a socket on the nut, with a long breaker bar if possible, and stand on both. Use your body weight to get the torque you need to pop the bolt. Super easy to do when you have enough leverage.
and the r200 is out of the car at this time.ive tryed this once before but i will try it again. the only thing i have yet to try is to put a powerful impact to it. ill keep you'll updated thanks for the input
-
im the process of swaping r200 and need the front pinion that connects the driveshaft to the r200 to come of so i can then put it onto my new r200. is there any way to get this thing off. now i know what those people in camalot felt like trying to get the sword of of the stone.

sandblasting would do the job just gfine but hitting it with some 80 grit would hurt at all. just giving the por-15 a little more to hold onto. when i did my engine bay all i did was sand down to bear metal, spray on "metal ready", primmer, then paint. so if you sandblast it you should have no problemsl

im not to big on watching tv, but ive never watched a better tv show. its as if it is a moive with the budget that must of been used for this production . the show is full of twist an turns around ever corner and cliff hanger that make me hate the show becuase i cant wait til next week. there are 3 more show in this session, but if u havent watched to show yet it's to late for you to jump in. but the dvd will be out sep. 6th if anyone cares.

the main shaft is kind of hard to turn. even after i put gear oil in it still the same. the person that i bought it from said that it had been sitting for a few months but worked fine before he took it out. i have another r200 and the main shaft on it turns easy.
any tips

thanks guys . thats is correct i am using the 7" housing with G35 hids. i had no idea that someone would think i would sell someone short

i just made a set of hid headlights for my 260.
using G35 hid and sone 7" unsealed housings they look like these
---->http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&category=36476&item=7948849269&rd=1
i can get my hands on other sets of hids and considering making a few more sets. the set would simply replace you stock headlight. it will also come with the ballest and all other nessecery wiring. all you need is power and ground from your stock headlights to get them working.
will have pictures posted tonight of the lights-wiring-hids-ballest.
how much do you think it would be worth for a set like this.considering starting pricing around 250-300.00 just throwing it out there. if this in to much what do you think is a reasonable price **no low balling PLEASE**
also have a set of projector head lights in the works. will be using projector similer to AUDI lights
