SALE PENDING

Thanks Robert. The post office here is closed until Monday. I will ship out your items on Monday morning.

I removed the tailights from the surrounds. A couple of the plastic "studs" snapped when I removed the screws on the drivers side. They can probably be glued back on. The passenger side came off ok. If you're still interested, I'd take $20 for the pair including shipping. If you are wanting something nicer, you might hit up Montezuma.

I have the tailight surrounds. I'll see if I can find a box they'd fit in to see what shipping would be.

Is that the original s30 datsun charcoal gray? What`s the paint code?
No, it's not the original datsun color. It is a charcoal grey metallic base coat, with a little bit of pearl in the clear coat.

Right now I am thinking of either a dark charcoal gray metallic, or a real dark green metallic.

The Cobra is actually painted Ford amber metallic. The orange hues show up really well in the sun.

Ok, my car looked good in pics, but it definitely had a 20 footer paint job. Paint was cracking from poor overuse of Bondo. I finally got it all stripped down, and am getting it done right this time. Not sure what color I'll go with... yet.
Here's a pic of a Shelby Cobra my painter did last month. Drool.

Just don't try to spray 280z style vinyl seats (the ones with the fabric center area) and expect good results...
Yup, AND it makes crappy window tint too :lmao:

My seats look as good now as the day I sprayed them. No flaking or cracking, nothing has rubbed off. I'm glad I went this route instead of some of the other brands out there.

I used Colorbond, which I think works great. Black Dragon sells it in their catalog and website.

Sounds like either a heater hose, heater control valve, heater core, or a combination of these. You might need to remove the glove box and heater fan motor to acess these. I had the same problem last year. Had to replace everything (hoses, valve and core). Once you get the glove box and fan motor out, the rest is not TOO bad to remove, but still a major PITA. Good luck.
BTW, if the heater control valve is shot, you'll find it is next to impossible to find a replacement. I happen to have an extra one that I might be willing to part with...

I like it. Sweet ride

Who the heck is Dave?
Dave Irwin aka "Zs-ondabrain". He is an electrical guru when it comes to S30's. Dave hangs out on Classiczcars.com

For some reason that link didn't work right. Look at page 65 at that Black Dragon catalog.

Thanks for that link Greg. Some nice stuff at a decent price.
