  1. I figured so, also good choice with the 9mm lower the way ammo is at the moment. I had a chance to get a colt AR for 1k it wasnt full size but had the collapsable stock and a couple of mags, also was standard .223. I may look into it still, though Beretta has a nice 9mm tactical carbine out called the CX4 Storm and at about an $800 price tag it would be a good buy.

    It shares Beretta pistol mags.

  2. Decided to break down and pick up a side arm. Taurus 24/7 OSS DS 9mm w 5.25" barrel, came with a hard case, manual, cleaning and lock-down kit, and two 17 round magazines. Needless to say I LOVE IT. It is a quality military spec pistol.

Now this is my other toy I've had for several months... It is called the GSG-5 it is basically a 22lr semi auto version of the HK Mp5, made in Germany at German Sport Guns. They really awesome thing about this rifle is all the tactical goodies you can pickup and there are alot of short rifle/suppressor options if you wanna pay the tax stamps.

  3. You know, this always interested me. I started out as a criminal justice major when I was 18, at 19 I started turning wrenches and got more interested in the technical fields (which is what ive always been into). I went to an Automotive Tech School at 20 (Universal Technical Institute). I really loved the school and have a passion for the work in automotive like everyone else here does. I worked at the Nissan dealer for about a year and I currently hold half of my nissan master tech creds. I'm 24 now, I feel like maybe I'm too old to start working on an ME degree... If I could go back, the things I would change :(

  4. What's so rice about it? I don't like the spoiler either but others here on HZ have similar ones.

In reference to the wing: You may want to read the "Windtunnel Tests" threads.

It just seems like overkill for a $4500 "street" car, just my 2 cents...

and yes to quote others, without the "wing", the car would be rather clean. ;)

  5. Well, been a long month, had an accident in the old Z31 (a suby wagon decided to wreck on the interstate and I hit him), a really nasty one, insurance company is taking forever, probably gonna end up with a lawyer involved soon. Ive been a 24 year-old unemployed auto technician for over 6 months, struggling to pay bills and student loans and the list could go on... the accident caused me to lose a job I was about to start... on top of being carless.

I had came across a 76 280 in really nice shape, just took a few pics and got the number etc... was just really curious about it, thought maybe when the insurance comes through, I might could get it. I gave my dad (who is nice enough to help me out with a home and some financial and moreso moral support most of all) the number and asked if he could call and inquire while I was visiting family and helping out with christmas prep. I get a ride home and what the hell? The 280 I had checked out earier is parked outside of the house.... my dad nowhere to be found... I call him and ask him what is the 280 doing outside? and he says "isnt that where you normaly park your car?" My dad gave me the biggest suprise I could have ever had... another S30, a NICE one... I had always wanted another since I had to sell my 77 for college money... I just thought this was a story worth posting, MERRY CHRISTMAS EVERYONE, and to all of those suffering from the economy, HAVE FAITH AND KEEP YOUR SPIRITS HIGH! Good things will happen to you when you least expect it!

  6. Thought I would share the new ride with everyone. Its a 1 owner (my grandfather) 1968 Sears 124CC Motorcycle that Gilera of Italy produced and sold under the Sears name. Its a rare bike and after 25 years in storage I am looking forward to restoring and riding this vintage machine, man I love old bikes ! :-D
