  1. I have mine plumbed directly into the oil system through a ball valve.  The system charges to capacity at the maximum oil pressure (60psi?) while driving down the straight.  In the braking zone, if the oil pressure from the pump drops, it dumps oil into the engine at the maximum oil pressure and tapering off to the empty system pressure.  I have never liked the idea of putting an active control system between the Accusump and the block.  To me, this just adds failure modes in a critical system.  I have my alarm set at 20psi and I have never had it sound while on track with it plumbed this way.  Without the Accusump I get regular alarms in hard braking zones.

  2. I have 6000 hard track miles on my L30.  I checked the valve lash and compression a few weeks ago and it shows no sign of wear.  Dave builds a great engine.  I monitor AFR's on the track with with a wide band and rejet as necessary.  I've got 3 hours of dyno time booked on the 4th to do some fine tuning.

  3. The 2 liter Accusump has worked flawlessly for me running 235 NT01's on road courses.  On a good day I can generate about 1.1G's of steady state cornering load on a long sweeper.  If you have more grip you may uncover the pickup more than I do.  My L30 is a Rebello unit that I run with a set of 44mm Mikuni's.  Great little track car.

  4. I am looking for a 4 speed transmission. Preferably the later model 1972+ (F2W71B). I am located near Houston Texas. Local pickup is preferred but I don't mind paying for shipping if necessary.

  5. Round top conversion, Can you elaborate a little? buddy of mine just picked up a set of SU's for his 260, to replace his hitachi's

I picked up a set from Ztherapy to replace my flat tops. I got them hooked up in a couple of hours. The car ran great (until the electrical thing). Pretty much plug and play. Do you have a specific question?

  6. I did a very stupid thing. I dropped a bolt and shorted out the little box on the firewall near the heater hoses. When I started the car and went for a test drive it got so hot that the wires glowed red and smoked! I thought I was going to burn the car down.

I've looked all over the FSM and I can't figure out what this little box does.

    Anyone know?

I guess at this point I have to unwrap the wiring harness and see how bad the damage is. I'm thinking that I should check my fusible links as well. I thought that they were supposed to burn out when a short like this happens. I've only had the car a couple of weeks. Still working out what the PO did to it.
