It could have just been abandoned, but I think the law is that you have to try and contact the owner and they have a certain period of time to claim it before it becomes yours. 19762802+2 Posted August 17, 2011 Share Posted August 17, 2011 I would pass, I almost got a buddy to pick up a 280z with no rust and a spare motor tons of parts etc. for $650 and I picked up both of my Z's (one running the other with tons of body work and frame rails already done, no motor) for $350. Posted August 17, 2011 Author Share Posted August 17, 2011 Getting an abandoned title isn't too hard in az and worst case scenario if a.previous owner wants to claim it you have the right to charge for storage.
