ktown z
I finally got around to installing my wilwood brakes and ssr sp1 rims and it looks amazing. There is one thing that is killing me and it is the missing center caps on the wheels. I have searched everywhere but have not found a set of ssr center caps that will work with the dust cap. A vendor told me to take the dust cap off and then the ssr center caps will work. Won't removing the dust cap allow the bearings to fling grease everywhere? The other option is to use a different wheel company's center cap but change the sticker. Does anyone know the size of the Rota RB-R center cap? Thanks
thehelix112
Alas I'm not sure if I still have my caps, I took them off first thing and haven't seen them since. If I find em when I get home I'll measure, otherwise I'm sure someone else can do the same. Dave
aarang
You can order three different sizes of ctr caps for the SSR's. The wheels do not come with them. look at their site, it gives the depths of each. I think they are about $40 a piece.
ktown z
Dave- Thank you. Aarang- I have gone on there website and spoke with a sales rep. from a SSR distributor and the center caps that will fit the bore are too short. The tallest is 33mm and from my wheel to the tip of the dust cap is 38mm. I have no room for a wheel spacer and I dont think I can flatten out 5mm of the dust cap.
