clutchdust
Went by the junk yards a couple weeks ago just to see what was out there. One yard had a couple S30s that were still pretty straight and relatively rust free. Of course, they were bone yard cars so a bunch was missing but they were still surprisingly there. I had a thought that maybe I could pick up both shells and make one complete car out of them and then use parts of the remaining shell to patch my car. Even so, the missing parts tended to be the same on each car so even with both, I would still need about 10% of a car to put one good driver together. The other day I decide to call the guy and find out how much he wanted for both cars. Keep in mind these are junk yard cars that have already been picked. He tells me $1000 EACH! Yeah, right. Looks like that guy is going to sit on them for a bit.
getoffmyinternet
Perhaps he could tell how much you wanted them? Many people will try to read you and give different prices to everybody. It's like going to the swap meet, I don't exactly get to lowball when I'm the only one there wearing a watch. If you want a good price you gotta look like a local. Some people just can't expect to sell anything though. I see so many like that on ebay. I'll realize I recognize a car from like six months earlier and find out that the guy has been relisting it over and over each week for the same price without a single bid.
