surpip
If you use the T3 backing plate you will also need to use there strut tube as well, what axles do you plan on useing?
RB240zDET
Could you not use the stock z32 backing plate?
surpip
Yeah for the e-brake set up you use the stock Z32 backing plate, but to mount the hubs and evrything elce you need the T3 "backing plate" so this set up can mount to the stock LCA. you cant just use the T3 backing plate alone. Sounds good, this is all info for tybee as I have these parts and when he comes up here with my vented hood he will be picking up my spare 300zx z32 rear calipers and knuckles with ebrake and brake shield. Good info and much appreciated Surpip.
surpip
No problem just don't want him getting his hopes up that he is going to be able to get away with only spending the $
Guest tybee260
Ha I did get my hopes up, so I will need the rear strut tubes as well? I was just about to pick up some ground control coilovers and tokico illuminas to use with section strut tubes
Guest tybee260
Also using the z32 hub will allow the use of Cv axles as well right? I have a r200 long nose with 280zx Turbo cv shafts....or would I need to use the cv's out of a z32. Not sure of the difference if there is any
surpip
You would need to use the Z32 axles but i think you can get stub axles for the diff that can take the Z32 axle bolt pattern. Talking with T3 would be your best bet. Edited January 24, 2012 by surpip
