hello, everyone I have a couple of questions. I havent found anything really on the

t-5 crossmember issue. this is a 5.0 T-5 swap by the way! can you use the stock crossmember or what? And what about the efi wiring and computer? is it really as simple as taking the harness out and the relays rehook the power to a switched power source and hooking up the ground, is it really that simple?? I hope so but i cant really find any solid evidence on these subjects. GRRRRRRR. and yes Ive read all the ford message fourms, now im more confused!!duhh!! oh, yeah what is the easist way to put in a exhaust? ive read a lot and im still not clear on what to use for the headers i dont mind putting a joint in the steering shaft. thank you for your time.

you'll find most of the info hidden posts.

I am in the process of putting a 302 in with t5. I agree with scca read as much as you can so you have most problems sorted out before you get to the no return stage .i am being a rebel and solid mounting the motor and using full length headers.I used 1 inch pipe bent in a u under the motor then short pieces of pipe to flat plate the to mustang motor mounts it looks good but has not been tryed yet I am having to do some creative fitting to get headers in .I moved motor 3/4 inch to passenger side had to bend firewall on pasenger side and bend header on drivers toward trans to get to work but I did not have to move steering I fabed trans mount using old tunnel mounts and the ends of trans mounts .I am using non efi so I dont have to worry about that as much.As we speak I have every thing off my car and am strenghening the car .I think the 302 is worth the adventure but is more work. Have fun .
