reliablejunkie
Hey everyone, i am just in the process of dismantling the rear tri-bearing CV axle on my 280ZX and i cleaned and rebuilt the outer end without a problem but i am now stuck with the inner joint. The boot is torn and i can see into the joint but i don't understand how to take it apart. Here are a couple photos of my freshly rebuilt outer and stubborn inner. Sorry about the excessively large pictures, if you open them in a new window you can see them in a better size. Edited June 28, 2012 by RB26powered74zcar Pics to large. HowlerMonkey
I just happened to be looking for a thread I remembered in here. Using search took a bit of careful word selection to find it. http://forums.hybridz.org/showthread.php?t=116211 and http://forums.hybridz.org/index.php/topic/58490-how-to-reboot-280zxt-cv-shafts/
HowlerMonkey
I have 3 sets (six axles) from M30 with the larger companion flange for the axle that matches them. The M30 axles are sweet because they are the last ones of the 280zx dimension that were manufactured and they have never seen a manual transmission. I have the Diffs. too and they are 4 pinion open.
